The Book of Enoch And The Book of Jasher

ENOCH – MAN OF GOD (HIS BOOK WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE HOLY BIBLE):

In days of old, in making the compilation of the Old Testament some of the books in the collection were disregarded because they seemed to contain unbelievable content. One of these was The Book of Jasher.

However, as we noted, this book was written prior to the book of Joshua, which was included in the Bible.

I will begin with the earliest cases (in this book) of men dealing directly with God and His angels. From these cases, we can establish that some special drink or portion was in use in the earliest of times.

I suggest that not only was a potion in use but something much more powerful. So powerful that it enabled a man to leave the Earth Plane and enter another dimension. In this dimension, he could find God, or if ill-prepared, demons and between those two extremes, goodness only knows what!

Mahlallel, one of the Canaan’s sons begat Enoch who walked with God after having begotten Methuselah and he served the Lord and despised the evil ways of men. The soul of Enoch was wrapped up in the instruction of the Lord, in knowledge and in understanding and he wisely retired from the sons of men and secreted himself from them for many days.

After many years of serving the Lord in His (I capitalized “His” to indicate I think it was the “spiritual” house of God) house an angel summoned him to leave his secret place and go to the sons of men to teach them the way in which they should go and the work which they must accomplish to enter the ways of God. Enoch obeyed and left the chamber where he was concealed and taught the sons of men the instruction of the Lord.

MY THOUGHTS:

I am of the opinion that the “angels” referred to in The Book of Jasher and the Holy Bible actually refer to spiritual beings that inhabit a “region” outside of the material plane where we reside.

These spiritual beings can be summoned by those “tried and tested” to believe in the “One God” and they enjoy assisting those believing strongly in their God.

In other words, I think they are actually jealous of the sons of man worshiping other “fantasy gods” and when called upon to put them in their place and demonstrate the power of the real, One and Only God, they jump at the chance.

I must emphasize that a very strong belief system must be in place in order to summon or communicate with them.

Next, could Enoch’s secret chamber be his laboratory and chamber of meditation? The laboratory to improve upon or increase his supply of the “concoction” and perhaps the same place where he fasted and meditated sufficiently to enter the spiritual dimension and learn about the true meaning of “eternal life” and what must be done to achieve it. The next paragraph should explain why I think this way.

Enoch had it proclaimed in all places saying, “Where is the man who wishes to know the ways of the lord and good works? Let him come to Enoch.”

(More thoughts: And so did all the men come to learn from Enoch and eventually he became king over them.)

After Enoch reigned over the sons of men for two hundred and forty-three years he decided to secret himself as before in order to serve the Lord. At that time he would only come out to the sons of men one day out of four. As time went on, he decided to come out only one day in seven, then, one day in a month, and finally, one day in a year.

Although the sons of men wanted to counsel with Enoch, they were afraid because the God-like countenance that was seated upon him. They feared that to look upon him would cause punishment and death.

What do you think of Enoch?
